Musically I like it a lot especially the guitar parts A lot of Coldplay has vague lyrics but I can usually pretty easily find my own interpretation or see the creativity, but this one just really has none of that. Major Minus - Suffers heavily from the lyrics not making any sense whatsoever and the chorus just being Ooo’s. It’s impossible for every song a band puts out for 25 years to be perfect.Ī whisper - it is SO repetitive and extremely boring, and lyrically is just a big ?ĭaylight - not as boring but still pretty boring, the bridge/chorus part is cool. Which is why I’m able to admit that there are songs that just aren’t good. It's not exactly bad, I just dislike it and skip it as often as possible. Like it works great on Shiver or Paradise but otherwise it sounds off.Īnd some of you lot will hate me for this but my least favourite Coldplay song is Fix You. There isn't very much to the song and I generally think Chris should lay off falsetto when the band isn't playing as loud. I appreciate they were trying something different but up until the bridge I honestly couldn't listen to it. Now that I think about it Oceans isn't that good. I'm not sure why, it's just kind of empty to me. Other people have mentioned X Marks the Spot but honestly I really dislike Army of One. It sounds like they didn't really know what they were doing at the time which is excusable because they were just starting out. It feels like the most average song in the world but they decided to put an organ on it and that made it. Easily the least interesting song on Viva except for perhaps Reign of Love. They are still a phenomenal band, and still one of my favourites. Overall, not tryna shit on the band, but every band will still have songs u wont like as much, and these are mine. But I can understand why people like this song. The chorus is really repetitive for me and the verses were just okay. Still 10x better than X Marks The Spot or Something Just Like This. The best of my least favourite songs on here. A Whisper (A Rush Of Blood To The Head).Nothing creative or distinctively Coldplay about it.A definite skip because even Army Of One could not save how bad this song was. It sounds like it couldve been made by any pop artist of the time. It is really bad and extremely embarassing. What the hell even is this song and why issit even made.

X Marks The Spot (A Head Full Of Dreams).The only good thing about the song would be the little guitar section, but that isnt quite enough to make up for it. I also find the song to be extremely repetitive throughout. In my opinion, this is probably the weakest song on Ghost Stories. Im also less of a fan of Coldplay collabs in general. This songs sounds like every other Chainsmokers song EVERRRR, its pretty boring and has cheesy lyrics. This song is an abomination and should not have existed. Something Just Like This (Kaleidoscope EP).Personally, songs I dont like from Coldplay are: Ur not gonna like EVERY single song frm a band because its subjective and there's differing opinions. Every band I love has bad/weak songs, and its perfectly normal. Despite being a huge Coldplay fan myself, they still have bad songs.
